Rise Up For Autism: home

Sensory Needs Are Real Needs

We work with your child's sensory profile, never against it. Occupational therapy at Rise Up helps children do the everyday things that matter to them and to you (dressing, eating, drawing, playing, regulating) in ways that respect how their body and senses actually work.

What we work on

Sensory regulation strategies your child can actually use

Fine-motor skills (grasp, drawing, cutting, fasteners)

Daily living: dressing, feeding, hygiene routines

Motor planning and coordination

Calm-body strategies for hard moments

Built into the same plan your ABA and speech team follows.

What a session looks like

Swings, textures, obstacle courses, art: OT sessions look like the best corner of a playground, because regulation is learned through the body, not lectures. Hard moments aren't failures; they're information we use to adjust.

Your team

Licensed occupational therapists (OTR/L), integrated with your child's BCBA and SLP under one roof.
